Ok so here's my review of 2 Chainz and Lil Waynes project Collegrove:
If you told me in 2008 that Tity Boi would carry Lil Wayne on an album I would've called you insane. But here we are in 2016 and Lil Wayne holds a tape back.
This tape is really interesting because I can't think of one person who asked for this, but you can tell 2 Chainz has wanted to make this project for a loooong time.
Even tho he's 10 years older and 10 inches taller he's looked up to Weezy for his whole career. On the first song of the tape Chainz claims that if it wasn't for Wayne he wouldn't be rapping; he loves this man.
Unfortunately Wayne doesn't love him back, because Wayne doesn't love rapping.
There's a scene in Judd Apatow's "Love" where Woody Allen face ass Gus has a jam session and his old creepy neighbors show up to the party. This tape feels exactly like that scene.
While 2 Chainz spins trap tales and stays heartfelt, Lil Wayne says "I keep that Maggie on me, I think I'm Homer Simpson"
"I keep that Maggie on me, I think I'm Homer Simpson"
The rapper who once claimed to be the Best Rapper Alive that also spent a year in jail for a gun charge said "I keep that Maggie on me, I think I'm Homer Simpson"
This tape would've been better with Young Thug on it.
But you can't discredit Titty Two Necklace, he really tried. So this tape gets 3 face tattoos out of 5.
