It’s really dope that we have so many female rappers these days. It’s exciting to finally be objectified in music.
I’m used to rappers threatening my life, my relationship or my community, so listening to a female rapper talk about how she’ll fuck me and leave is exciting. With that said, Megan Thee Stallion makes me feel objectified as shit.
She’s taller than me, richer than me, and I’m like 80 percent sure she’d stare a hole through my head. Every time I hear her rap my wallet starts burning cuz I want to give her everything. (I really hope my mom doesn’t see this because she will be very disappointed). Megan is dope and deserves the world. A part of me is worried that white women are going to discover her ruin the fun as they’re apt to do. What keeps me from fully being scared of this happening is that I’m pretty sure Megan doesn’t allow white women to touch her, so she should be ok.
Megan Thee Stallion is gonna be a star plain and simple, I just don’t know when that’s going to happen. When things are inevitable they happen at their own pace no matter how much you try to control it. The best thing you can do is relax and keep pushing forward. With that, let’s get into her new mixtape: Fever.
Megan has an amazing voice for rap. It’s deep, aggressive and believable. I trust everything she says; I know she can fight and I know that she got at least 4 niggas who text her good morning every morning. She raps her god damn ass off on Fever. This is the music women listen to before they ask for a raise/lick a niggas booty hole. She spits with a confidence that makes everything she says natural, no matter how outlandish it is.
This is some Nissan Altima music and I mean that in the best way possible. This is the shit you listen to when the nigga you been fucking with is slow with his texts but super fast with his Instagram story responses. If you’re a woman who’s coming off her period, definitely listen to Megan Thee Stallion.
Megan raps so aggressive while making the cutest references. I’ve never heard someone talk about how they’ll ruin my life with this pussy while references SpongeBob Squarepants. I love her lyrics because I can tell that she’s an introvert. Sure she loves rapping and performing but I can spot a “hey sorry I just saw this text” ass nigga from a mile a way. Megan definitely likes her time to herself.
I can’t stress enough how fun this tape is. I played this tape while I went to the store to buy to buy a frozen pizza and ended up buying some cheesecake and some guacamole; Megan makes me want to do better. Hearing a woman who knows what she’s worth rap about what she deserves is sexy as hell. I can feel how close Megan is to becoming a household name.
My only complaint about is that she doesn’t give herself the hype she deserves. The songs on this tape are GOOD, but Megan treats them like they’re regular. An intro or an interlude would go a long way. It can feel obnoxious but to paraphrase Lady Olenna, Megan has to realize she’s a dragon. Her songs are the shit so she definitely needs to treat them that way. She believes in her rapping ability and her appeal, all that’s left is the belief in her star power.
Megan Thee Stallion is going to inspire women to be as nasty as they’ve always wanted to be. So prayers to the niggas who end up with a finger in their ass this weekend. Feveris only the beginning and I can’t wait to see her next moves. I give Fever 8.5 bottles of weave glue out of 10.
